The Slant Awards Spring 2012 Competition 입니다. 이번 공모전 대상제한은 없습니다. 주제는 진행중인 도시 재건중인 한 도시를 선정하여서 설계하는 것입니다. 그러나 흥미로운 점은 선정대상 도시는 실제로 존재하지 않는 도시라네요. 선정된 도시는 오로지 이번 공모전을 위해서만 존재하는 도시이고 장소 역시 추체적인 발표는 아직 입니다. 전 세계 어디든지 존재하는 포괄적인 도시가 될 것이라고 관계자들은 전하고 있네요. 참가자들은 자유롭게 이 도시가 위치하게 될 나라를 고르면 됩니다. 이번 공모전은 국제공모전으로 도시 계획이나 도시 설계에 관심있는 누구든지 참가할 수 있고 학생들은 적극적으로 참가를 권하고 있네요.이번 마감일은 2012년 6월 1..

밤새면서 책 뒤적이다가 좋은 글을 봐서 포스팅 합니다. 현재 읽고 있는 책은 '건축학교에서 배운 101가지 이야기' 입니다. 책은 간단히 볼 수 있지만 그 안에 있는 내용은 지금까지 봐서는 좋은 내용이 많으니 건축을 배우고 있거나 관심있는 분은 한 번 봐보셔도 좋을듯 하네요 (다 읽고 책에대한 review를 써봐야 겠네요) 이번 포스팅은 이 책의 도중에 나온 29번째인 '결과보다 과정을 중시하는 것이 건축가로서 발전하는데 가장 중요하고 어려운 능력이다' 에 대한 내용입니다. 현재 설계를 많이 해본 학생은 아니지만 대학교에서 건축을 배우면서 학생들이 가장 중요시 여기는 것은 '학점' 이기에 과정보다는 결과를 중요시 여기는 것이 사실이지요.... 그럼 과정을 중요시 여긴다는 것은 어떤 것일까요? 책에서는 이..

6주간의 프로젝트 Nine-Square cube 250*250*250 안에서 나의 concept를 잡고 그 안에서 만드는 공간 Floating Space를 컨셉으로 잡고 그 동안 develop을 통한 결과를 평가 받는날 오전부터 발표연습을 하다가 10시 쯤에 판넬인쇄 맡긴것을 찾아 오면서 그 동안 고생했던게 곧 끝이 나는구나...생각 오자마자 판넬 폼보드에 바쁘게 붙이고 가자마자 2번째 발표라서 연습했던것이 다 꺼먹고;;;; 처음에 발표이어서 하자마자 긴장이 풀려서 폭풍잠을 자버렸다;;; 끝나고 나니 10시.... 이제 프로젝트 하나가 끝났다. 결과 같은것은 뒤로하고 6주간 이것 하나만 바라보면서 건축에 대해서 조금씩 알아가는 행복이 생긴다. 그리고 무엇보다 오토캐드로 도면을 빼는 것이 아니라 아키캐드를..
